Home Again Nevada Homeowner Relief Program Counselors to Answer Housing Questions on Twitter

LAS VEGAS WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 3, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez will host a Twitter Town Hall as part of National Consumer Protection Week. This event, an initiative of the Home Again: Nevada Homeowner Relief Program will give Nevadans the opportunity to ask housing counselors about buying a home, credit restoration, loan modification, foreclosure and other free resources available to all Nevadans.

“The Home Again program is in its second year of operation, and we have helped thousands of Nevadans already. However, consumers are still hurting, and we want to make sure they get housing help they need,” said Masto. “We will have housing counselors available to help Nevadans get answers to their housing questions.”

What: Twitter Town Hall
When: March 7th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Nevadans will have opportunity to communicate live with counselors and ask housing questions via Twitter. Participants are asked to use the Twitter hashtag #AskHomeAgain when asking their questions.
Since Home Again’s program launch in 2013, more than 12,000 Nevadans have contacted Home Again for access to free housing and consumer protection resources. Home Again is a one-stop, no-fee public service designed to provide assistance to consumers interested in purchasing a home, working towards credit restoration, seeking loan modification, or those facing foreclosure. All Nevadans may contact Home Again by calling toll-free 1-855-HLP-4-NEV (1-855-457-4638) or by visiting HomeAgainNevada.gov. Assistance is available in English and Spanish.
