BLM PROPOSES TO SELL 754.88 ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND IN CLARK COUNTY

The Bureau of Land Management Las Vegas Field Office is seeking public comments on a proposal to sell 40 parcels totaling 754.88 acres of public land in Clark County, Nevada. The competitive sale would be by sealed and oral bidding in accordance with the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act (SNPLMA). A Notice of Realty Action published in today’s Federal Register opens a 45-day comment period which will close January 8, 2018.

Calmwater Capital, a leading, national direct real estate lender, has originated a $36.7 million loan for Remington Nevada to refinance existing debt and finance remaining construction of the Mountains Edge Marketplace in southwest Las Vegas. Burn Area Emergency Response team begins fire recovery efforts at site of Little Valley...

Fire suppression efforts on the Little Valley Fire have transitioned from a National Response Team to a local Fire Management Team. While the local Fire Team looks for any remaining hot spots, a Burn Area Emergency Response team (BAER) will begin efforts to prevent further damage. Partnering agencies and cooperators are now focusing on assessing and mitigating impacts of the fire to public and private property.
