Forté Specialty Contractors Hires Greg Hellem as Superintendent
28-year hospitality construction veteran to oversee Forté’s latest project with Wynn
Las Vegas, NV – (RealEstateRama) — Forté Specialty Contractors, a Las Vegas-based construction company specializing in building for the experience for restaurants, nightclubs, museum exhibits and themed, experiential venues, has announced the hire of Greg Hellem as superintendent. Based in the company’s Las Vegas headquarters, Hellem will be responsible for providing leadership to the on-site staff to supervise the quality of work and to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget. Hellem’s first project with Forté will be working on Wynn’s newest nightclub, Intrigue.
“Greg’s many years of work within the construction industry make him a great fit for this role,” said Scott Acton, CEO of Forté. “His broad industry knowledge, paired with his past experience in constructing some of the best known hotels and shopping destinations in Las Vegas will help meet the needs of our clients while greatly adding to the success of the Forté team overall.”
In this role, Hellem will also be responsible for assisting the project manager and the scheduling manager in developing and refining the project schedule as well as the planning and review of the construction program, including quality control procedures and safety and security practices.
Prior to joining Forté, Hellem’s 28 years of experience comprise working with a number of large and small contracting companies throughout Las Vegas and California, primarily within the hospitality and retail industries. Hellem has worked with top hotels in Las Vegas including The Palms, Tropicana, and Las Vegas shopping destinations including the Fashion Show Mall, the Linq Promenade and The District. Most recently, Hellem was a superintendent at W.A. Richardson Builders.
Hellem earned his Bachelor of Arts in education from Western State Colorado University.
