Magazine lists Northern Nevada’s Dickson Realty

-

Dickson Realty is the 77th largest independent real estate company in the United States, according to the annual 2007 REAL Trends 500, a study that represents the standard of measuring the performance of the nation’s leading realty service firms. Dickson Realty was the only northern Nevada real estate agency to be named in the prestigious list. The study also shows Dickson Realty outsold all other independent or franchised real estate companies in Reno, Sparks, Truckee or Lake Tahoe.

REAL Trends, a publishing and communications company based in Denver, Colo. and considered to be a leading source of analysis and information on the residential brokerage industry, ranks firms on the basis of closed transaction sides and by sales volume. The study, now in its 20th year, also takes into account core services that real estate agencies offer such as mortgage, title insurance, escrow, property/ casualty insurance and others. REAL Trends audits and verifies all numbers to ensure accuracy in its rankings.

The REAL Trends report listed Dickson Realty, who has offices in Reno, Sparks, Montrêux, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Keys, Zephyr Cove and Truckee, with 2,492 closed transaction sides and $1,260,0160,000 in sales volume in 2006. A side is when a real estate firm represents either the buyer or the seller in a real estate transaction. Dickson’s quantity of sides for 2006 is more than two and a half times the number of sides reported by its closest competitor in northern Nevada, and its 2006 sales volume is four times as much as its closest competitor – independent or franchised.
