The POWER Act, introduced by Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) and Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), aims to increase the adoption of industrial energy efficiency technologies that can dramatically reduce energy costs for Nevada’s businesses.

In 2009, I was proud to join former Secretary Ken Salazar to announce a plan to prioritize and expedite permitting for renewable energy projects on public lands. In 2010, the first solar project on Nevada public lands was approved.
