Congresswoman Titus Announces Major Clean Energy Project for Southern Nevada

WASHINGTON, D.C. - June 4, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada’s First District announced that the Department of the Interior has approved a major clean energy project in Southern Nevada. The Midland Solar Project will be built seven miles southwest of Boulder City. Once completed, the solar power plant will generate enough electricity to power approximately 105,000 homes. The project will create 350 construction jobs and up to 10 permanent jobs

The Bureau of Land Management Las Vegas Field Office is seeking public comments on a proposal to sell 40 parcels totaling 754.88 acres of public land in Clark County, Nevada.
